The San Andres Community

My name is Berna, though many people call me Aguatera (water woman). I am 47 years old and proudly belong to the Bora culture. Through my roots, I pass on our traditions and cultural heritage to my children and to my community. I currently work as an artisan, a craft I pursue with dedication and deep love for my origins.

I am motivated to be part of the safe water project because I want every community member to have access to clean water, to live with dignity, and to prevent illness. I also hope to work actively for my community, identify its needs, and contribute to its overall well-being.
