The Nueva Vida Community

My name is Jessy, and I am 27 years old. I am originally from the Bora community of Brillo Nuevo and currently live in the community of Nueva Vida (Yaguas) with my partner and my son. I work as an artisan, creating handmade crafts that I sell in my community’s maloca.

I am motivated by the well-being of children and all the families in my community, with the goal of preventing illness and promoting good health. I also want to continue learning so I can share information and serve as a community monitor for the safe water project.
